Our Story
Cycling is not just a sport or a hobby; it’s a way of life. This philosophy was the seed from which cyclistguy.com grew. What started as a small blog shared among friends has evolved into a comprehensive resource for cyclists worldwide.
We are Louisa & Tobi aka chainsandchords, a couple from Germany, and we are currently cycling around the world with our guitars! Louisa was born and raised in Dortmund. Tobi was born in the US but grew up moving around with his family to Germany, Australia & China.

Hels On Wheels aka Helen Dainty is a full-time global hobo cycling around the world on a budget of AU$ 100 per week. She left the UK in 2004 and has been living out of a backpack ever since.
Sanjeev Rattan, a 50-year-old cyclist from Delhi, started cycling in 2016 to reduce carbon footprint and promote sustainable transportation. He has completed multiple long-distance rides, including G2G, B2B, and Golden Triangle rides, and has earned 7 Super Randonneur titles from Audax Club Parisien.
Dr. Michelle Spiel, a distinguished Australian dentist and a devoted cyclist, has seamlessly integrated her passion for healthcare and cycling into a remarkable journey of achievement and dedication.
Our journey began with the simple goal of sharing our love for cycling and has transformed into a platform where cyclists can find everything from gear reviews and maintenance tips to breathtaking routes and personal stories.
